Dr. SFV Selvaraj DM (Cardio) MD (Med) FCCP FICA FRSTM FISC FCSI FISE , is a Senior Cardiologist and Physician, with more than 30 years of experience in his chosen field. He heads the Cardiodiagnostic Center at GG Hospital. He completed his training in Internal Medicine (MD) from Madras Medical College in 1973 and Doctorate in Cardiology (DM) from Government General Hospital, Chennai in 1983. During his tenure in government service, he has held the post of Assistant Professor in various departments such as Hematology, Neurology, Internal medicine and Cardiology. He is a fellow of the Cardiological Society of India, served as Treasurer CSI Madras chapter for Two terms 1992-1998. He is a fellow of the Indian society of Electrocardiology, Indian college of Cardiology, Indian academy of Echocardiography, Indian college of Interventional Cardiology, Indian Medical Association, Association of Physicians of India, Former member – National AIDS control organization (NACO) apex body and Indian federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. He is a recipient of Best Doctor award for the year 2000, Rashtriya Rattan award, International Medical excellence award, Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana award, Rajiv Gandhi Shironmani award, Pride of India Award, Felicitation award and certificate of excellence, Life time achievement award 2007, Jawaharlal Nehru lifetime achievement award 2003 and National utility friendship forum of India award.

Dr. Kamala Selvaraj MD DGO PhD, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, graduated from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. She completed DGO and MD from Madras Medical College Chennai. She underwent training in 'In vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer techniques at Monash University, Melbourne in 1985 followed by several training programmes in Singapore and Monash University. Dr. Kamala Selvaraj commissioned the First Test Tube Baby of South India in August 1990 and since then has had many achievements – including several first - in assisted reproduction. In 2002, she was awarded PhD for her thesis on “Premature Ovarian Failure and its management”. She has many publications to her credit in several National and International journals as first author and has authored chapters in textbooks on assisted reproduction. She is also the recipient of several awards including Best Lady Doctor award (1993), Mahila Shironmani Award (1995), Rajiv Gandhi Memorial National Integration Award (1995) and Seva Ratna Award. She constantly updates herself in assisted reproduction by participating in national and international conferences.

Dr. Deepu Rajkamal Selvaraj M.S(Gen.Surgery) (M.Ch Surgical Gastroenterology) Dip. Endoviscerale Surgery, (France) Dip. Chirurgie Colorectale ET Billiare, (France) Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, completed his training in MS (General Surgery) from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in the year 1999. He then completed his fellowship in Endoviscerale Surgery from the University of Bordeaux (France) in 2001. He obtained Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery from the reputed Maison Saint Protestante Bagatelle, Bordeaux, France in 2002. He has also been trained in laparoscopic surgery at the University of Kiel, Germany. Working as a Clinical Assistant at St.Mary’s Hospital (London, UK), he trained extensively under Prof. Sir. Ara Darzi KBE, an accomplished laparoscopic surgeon and Head of Dept of Colorectal Surgery. He consults at his chamber at GG Hospital as a consultant Laparoscopic Colorectal & Hepatopancreatobiliary surgeon.

 


             
 

Dr. Priya Selvaraj MD MNAMS, MCE., completed her training in MD (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in the year 2000. In the same year, she also completed MNAMS (Obstetrics and Gynecology), followed by further training programmes in Assisted Reproductive Technology and related endoscopic surgery from National University hospital, Singapore (1999-2001). She has completed a diploma in endoscopy surgery from Kiel, Germany (2002). She has also completed her Masters Degree in Clinical Embryology and Andrology from the Jones Institute of Reproductive Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School, USA. Her interests include current advances in ART lab procedures, Genetics of infertility, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, oocyte cryopreservation, Stem Cell Therapy and Therapeutic cloning. She has co-authored several papers in journals and textbooks on assisted reproduction. Recently she commissioned the First frozen oocyte Baby of India on 27th August 2008.
